With the first season of The Bad Batch coming to an end this past Friday, fans have been left with a Tipoca City-wide hole as they wait for the next animated or live-action story set in a galaxy far, far away.

Well they won’t have to wait too long as Star Wars just released the first official trailer for Star Wars: Visions, the new animated anthology series coming to Disney + this September.

All nine episodes, produced by seven Anime studios, are scheduled for release on September 22, 2021 and feature a variety of droids with heavy weapons, different styles of lightsabers, Force powers and a return to a familiar podracing arena.

The Anime studios behind SW: Visions were allowed to explore their creativity without being beholden to canon Star Wars stories and it shows. The style of each episode is different and something we haven’t seen in Star Wars before.

All episodes seem to be available in their original Japanese, with English subtitles, but we also got a look at the voice cast doing the English voice over and it is stacked. Some names will be familiar to Star Wars fans.

Some of these include Lucy Liu, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bobby Moynihan, Temuera Morrison, Marc Thompson, Christopher Sean, Simu Liu, David Harbour, Henry Golding, George Takei and many more.

Are you excited for Visions? Either way, check out the awesome trailer again.
